Company History

Sierra Remodeling & Home Builders, Inc.

Howard Richter, our company president and CEO, has come from a family with an extensive background in construction. Prior to starting his own company, Howard served as a construction foreman for one of Arizona’s leading builders, Schuffler and Kerley. Later he was the construction superintendent for Billingsley Construction Company, then one of the largest custom home builders in the area.

In 1979 Howard founded the company and, in 1982, he incorporated the business in Arizona under the name Sierra Remodeling & Home Builders, Inc. In later years, and to more accurately reflect the diversity of the corporation, three divisions were created to specialize in remodeling, custom homes and kitchens & baths. While each of these divisions serve a unique segment of the market, all three keep up the underlying philosophy of “Providing each customer the highest quality products and services at the most economical cost.” For almost 40 years Howard has provided this quality service to the residents of Sierra Vista, Cochise County, and the surrounding communities in southeastern Arizona.

Thomas and Bob did their usual excellent job on the shower. Gerald created the beautiful bench with a spacious oak cabinet underneath. And Matt added the finishing touches, including the addition of a new window in the shower. The resulting overall craftsmanship is unsurpassed and fit our budget perfectly.

We had a partial remodel done on our master bathroom. Sierra Remodeling did an outstanding job...it is beautiful and we love it. We didn't even shop around to compare prices.
