Problem: Aging-in-place couple wants to improve access to their shower and bathing facilities.

Solution:

Replace master bathroom shower and bath with a huge accessible shower that includes a L-shaped bench, a nearby hand-held shower, lots of room for a walker, hand rails/grab bars, a large ceiling rain-can shower head and huge easy-roll glass shower doors.

Our Sierra Remodeling designer, Ryeleigh Rosek, chose neutral and light natural tile colors that compliment the couple’s love for sandy beaches and ships. As soon as you enter their home you feel as if you are on the coast!

Large floor-to-ceiling glass doors allow light in from the tile-wrapped frosted windows. The large ceiling mount rain-can shower head imitates a waterfall and the hand shower enables the couple to shower while sitting comfortably on the new L-shaped bench.
